# Make a hotspot invisible

In my chapter, in the **HOTSPOTS** section, I choose the hotspot I want to make invisible. I go to the content editor symbolised by the pencil icon.

Then I click on the **Settings** icon in the top right-hand corner.

I tick the **Invisible on the video** option:

My hotspot is then **dotted around** to differentiate it from the other hotspots in my chapter.

This allows me to differentiate between **visible hotspots** and **invisible hotspots** for the learner.

I can then adjust the **Size** of my target by changing the value in the size block above it.

If I don't want the hotspot to be visible in the timeline either, I also tick the **Invisible on the timeline** option.

On the screen at the end of my module, I can see the number of invisible hotspots I've found.  
  
Invisible hotspots are also considered **interactions** and **invisible quizzes** count towards the module's **success rate**!

Unlike visible hotspots, invisible hotspots do not open automatically in **Locked Navigation**.
