How to use AI-based GPT video generation?

K.Movie is available to all designers as a free version, with limited export possibilities (watermark, time limit). If you are interested in this tool, please contact us to update your licence and take full advantage of its features.

To automatically generate video content using GPT (AI), follow these steps:

Step 1: From your Dashboard, click the Create Project button to open the K.Movie Editor. Choose a horizontal 16:9 aspect ratio.
Step 2: In the Properties panel, click on the Toolkit tab:



Step 3: Click AI (GPT) Video Generation



In the AI (GPT) Video Generation tab, you'll find the following options:

Video type

Audience

Language of video

Word count


Step 4: Your video type will determine what kind of video script GPT will generate for you. Choose which video type you'd like to make:

Explainer video

Marketing video

How-to video



Step 5: Next select your target audience. Depending on your audience, the script will have a different tone and vocabulary. You can choose from the following audiences:

Adults

Teenagers

Kids

Professionals

Consumers

Colleagues


You can then set the language and the word count to proceed.



Step 6: Enter the subject of your video as a short, descriptive title, and click “Generate script”



This will then start generating your script using GPT technology. A few seconds later, you'll get a script proposal.

Step 7: In the following window, you can edit your generated script and choose between additional options that determine the outcome of your video.



The following options are available:

Text: on-screen text or subtitles. This is important for further editing and styling.
Visuals: choose between 'No visuals', stock videos or stock images selected from the iStock by Getty Images or Unsplash library.

All objects can still be modified, replaced or removed afterwards.

Step 8: Choose Style:



The following options are available:

Onscreen text style: Select your preferred text style that will be visible on your video
Background music: This will be randomly selected from the Soundstripe library. This can easily be swapped out after the video generation.
Voice over: Lets you choose your language and voice
Scene animation: Choose between no animation, fade in/fade out or slide in.


Step 9: Click "Create video"

Your video is now being generated. This usually takes 2-5 minutes.

Once the video is generated, click "Have a look" to preview your video. Your video will be opened in the K.Movie Editor.



Your video is now ready! You can further edit the text, video and image and sound objects to your preferences.

Use the Swap Object feature to quickly replace your image and/or video objects in your project

Once your video is finalized, click "**Save and exit**" in the top-right corner.



From the Dashboard, you are now able to Download or Publish your video.
