How to use certification?

To use certifications, you must have access to an Advanced license, K.Live, and a certification pack. To learn more about this, feel free to contact us via chat.

Enable Certification

1) Define a target score

To enable certification on your module, you must have previously defined a target score in the Preferences tab.

Preferences Tab > Target Score

2) Publish a new version

Once the target score is enabled, go to the Web Publication tab and publish a new version of your module.

Web Publication Tab > Publish a new version

3) Enable the certification

Go to the K.Live playlist where you want to enable a certification and access the options at the top right.

Playlist Options

Then, click on "Certification" to configure it.

Tip: You can also check the "Lock playlist order" option if you want your learners to view the modules chronologically. If you enable this option, access to the next module will only unlock once the end screen of the current module is reached.

Configure the certification

Once the certification is enabled, the certification settings pop-up opens.

Here you can enter the name of the certification, the validated skill(s), and choose a graphic template.

Once configured, click OK.

Learner side

Once your settings are saved, your learners will see a small badge appear above the thumbnail of the relevant K.Live playlist.

After completing the module, and if the target score is reached, the learner will be able to view and download their certification directly from the tool.

They will also receive an email allowing them to access their certification in PDF format and via a URL link.
